Kirk is currently Senior Lecturer for the PGCE Physical Education course at Bath Spa University. For twenty-six years he was the Chief Examiner for AQA for the GCSE Physical Education examinations. Kirk works extensively within the media, including creating the content for the BBC Bitesize GCSE PE web site. He also has thirty-five textbooks published within his sector.
