Maureen Burns Maureen has been Head of Schools’ Services in a Local Authority for five years, director of the DfES Innovation Unit and a senior adviser working with Michael Barber in the School Effectiveness Unit.Maureen and Phil have worked extensively and successfully with with some of the most improved schools and academies in the country. They have highly developed consultancy skills and professional understanding about the opportunities and challenges of school leadership.
