Welcome to Osiris Educational’s Host School site

What are ‘Host Schools’?

Host Schools are your local partners in training. They are Outstanding schools that are working in partnership with Osiris to bring high quality training to schools in their region. Your local Host School will run day courses throughout the year. They will also broker Insets, Interventions and consultancies for schools in their area.

By working in partnership with Host Schools throughout the country, we hope to make it easier for all schools to access high quality training.

What kind of training is on offer?

Host Schools will run a selection of day courses every term. It is important that the training offered meets the needs of schools in the region. Therefore the School will carry out a market testing process each term to gather information about current and anticipated training needs.

Host School are also able to broker Osiris Insets, Interventions and consultancies for schools in their area. To find out more, please click on the name of the School in the menu on the left hand side.

Who will decide what courses will run at each school?

It is very important that the training offered by your local Host School meets the training needs of schools in your region. We are therefore very keen to hear from schools about the training that they would like to see in their region. Host Schools will contact CPD Coordinators in their area each term to ask them about the continuing professional development needs of teachers in their school.

You can also contact your local Host School at any time of the year to tell them about the training you would like in your area.

Who can attend courses at Host Schools?

Anybody can attend courses at our Host Schools! You do not have to be from the local area.
