About Andy Griffith

Andy Griffith is a writer and a highly acclaimed and inspirational trainer at Osiris Educational. He specialises in developing learning to learn and thinking skills courses for students and creativity, diversity and learning courses for teachers.

Andy is a consultant to the BBC on citizenship and inclusion, and the lead writer for Comic Relief on education. He has also has been a member of the QCA writing team for Citizenship. He has written a number of books, including ‘Equal Opportunities’ (Framework Press), ‘Citizens of the Future’ (Folens) and ‘Citizens in Action’ (Heinemann), as well as classroom materials for Comic Relief and Sport Relief.

Andy is especially proud of Motivated and Loving It, a company he has set up in Merseyside. “The courses run by me and my four colleagues aim to raise the confidence of young people. Although fun-based, the courses are challenging and thought-provoking. We use all sorts of methods, especially in sport and the media, to get young people to really get themselves in shape – both mentally and physically!”
