David Hopkins Professor David Hopkins is Professor Emeritus at the Institute of Education, University of London, and an international consultant on school reform. Between 2002 and 2005 he served three Secretaries of State as the Chief Adviser on School Standards at the Department for Education and Skills. The Open University Press publishes his most recent books, Every School a Great School and System Leadership in Practice.
