What is the Osiris Teaching Intervention (OTI)?
The Osiris Intervention Programme is authored by leading UK experts to enhance teaching practices in order to implement both student and teacher learning.
The programme is focused on improving the quality of teaching, with OTI trainers ensuring best practices are implemented and teachers are receiving measurable feedback. Coming into the classroom allows for expertise from the coaches, whilst considering your unique teaching style.
It is delivered by carefully selected and quality assured instructional coaches. Drawing on the best educational pedagogy; the three modules are at the heart of improvement, motivation, and impact.

How does OTI work?
When you book the Osiris Teaching Intervention you will be assigned an expert instructional coach who will evaluate your schools’ needs and deliver OTI’s three modules of learning:
Module 1:
Engagement
OTI teachers get practical strategies to ensure ALL
pupils are engaged in learning ALL of the time. Too
often ‘teaching to the middle’ results in 50 to 70%
engagement. Not after OTI
Module 2:
Feedback
All teachers give feedback. We know from research
and observation that 1/3 has no impact, 1/3 has a
negative impact and 1/3 is very powerful. In this
module you will unpick the models teachers are using and rebuild them to ensure that all feedback is powerful and acted upon.
Module 3:
Challenge
Every learner is unique. To be stretched they need
meaningful (Plus One) and timely challenges. Doing
this with the whole class demands the practical
strategies and forethought this module provides.
The three-module structure takes place over two terms, in cohorts of five or ten teachers. The programme is built around your school day, ensuring minimum disruption. Each module is explored and embedded in the same way:
Professional learning session
Begin every module with a session for the whole cohort with one of the expert consultants, they will give you the theory.
Film and
unpick
Each member of the cohort will be observed and filmed applying the learning acquired in each module to their own teaching practice.
One-to-one
coaching
Sit down with the experts as you unpack your practice and get instant pointers and strategies to improve.
Practise in the classroom
Take your new skills back to the classroom and see the impact in every lesson for every student.
Each member of the cohort will receive written feedback, consisting of lesson commentary to identify strengths and areas for further development. The intervention concludes with an evaluation event where teachers unpick their personal journey and how they will integrate these new habits in their day-to-day teaching.
