Patrick has been Head of Computing at Twyford CE High School since September 2013 where he is also a Maths teacher. Prior to this he taught ICT, Computer Science and Maths to KS3, 4, and 5 students at Featherstone High School. Here he developed a computer science GCSE course and his desire is still to demonstrate the link between computer science and mathematics in school with the hope that one day they will be seen as the same body of knowledge and in particular computer science be seen as applied mathematics in as much as mechanics and statistics are applied mathematics.
