Enabling Leaders helps you build your leadership pipeline from within, spotting, developing and retaining the leaders your school needs, and turning that growth into measurable, lasting impact.
Schools are brilliant at spotting talent in the classroom, but far less consistent at growing it into leadership. Too often, potential goes unnoticed until someone leaves, and by then it’s too late.
65% of new secondary headteachers don’t last three years in post. Replacing a teacher costs schools up to £20,000, before you even count the disruption to pupils and staff. Without a clear, consistent way to develop leaders from within, schools are left constantly recruiting rather than growing the people they already have.
With a research base this large, results speak for themselves.
Enabling Leaders runs as an ongoing cycle rather than a single intervention: spotting potential, building capability, empowering leaders to act, and planning for the long term.
A one-year programme built around your own leadership framework, not a generic course.
Working directly with your executive team to unpick your values, vision, context and strategy, building your bespoke 10-point leadership framework.
The framework is unpacked with all your leaders, defining what great leadership actually means in your school(s).
An ongoing online platform giving full visibility of leadership talent across your organisation.
Leaders evaluate their own confidence across the 10 leadership areas.
A 90-minute Precise Professional Conversation with a coach, agreeing confidence levels and next steps.
The cycle repeats, reflecting on progress and development.
Every programme is delivered by experienced school leaders and practitioners, not generic trainers.
