Strategic School Alignment

Give yourself space to breathe.

A 90-day strategic review for senior leaders who need clarity, not another initiative.

For headteachers, senior leadership teams and MAT or group directors.

Leading well has never been harder

40 years ago, school leaders had 3 priorities. Now you have 27.

Education has never been more complex. Conflicting priorities and too little time leave schools overwhelmed.

Yet teachers and leaders have never been more capable.

There is a path forward.

The 90-Day Strategic Review

This strategic review makes sense of the competing priorities, identifiing common ingredients with them, so you can build from your strengths. Our trusted consultants work alongside you and your school(s) for 90 days, helping you lead with clarity. You finish with an action plan for strategic development.

How it works

1. Start with your priorities

We work with you to identify what matters most and where your strengths already lie.

2. Work with the right consultants

Our consultants bring a wide range of experience, and we choose them based on your school’s specific priorities.

3. Leave with a plan

After 90 days, you have an action plan to guide long-term school improvement.

Embed strategy and impact in your improvement planning

It’s hard to see the longer-term picture when the educational environment keeps changing. After years of working at strategic level with leading education experts, we help you bring clarity and focus to your improvement and development planning, with the design and structure to put your strategy into practice across your school or service.

We provide:

  • A narrative mapping exercise that pulls every strand together coherently
  • The Osiris Insight to Impact Framework, helping your senior leaders build towards planned improvement
  • The triple swipe model of change

We recommend an initial two days of consultancy, with more support as needed.

Insight to Impact Framework

A tool for your leadership team

Launched through our not-for-profit arm, Insight for Impact CIC, this framework is built on robust evidence from school leaders and grounded in classroom practice. It summarises the key drivers of improvement in school language.

It is formative and developmental, not judgemental, and written to sit alongside national accountability frameworks.

Focused on: pedagogy, leadership, implementation and evaluation.

Insight to Impact Framework

Use it to align

Your team or department

See where you agree and disagree, and decide what to prioritise next.

Your senior leadership team

Compare where each leader thinks the school is and test it against your strategic plans.

Your whole school

Compare the views of teachers, middle leaders and senior leaders.

A cluster or trust

Find common strengths, share good practice and celebrate achievements.
