Description

The focus

Play and assessment can go hand in hand…

Controversial tests of children in P1 will continue after an independent review found “scant evidence” of youngsters becoming upset during the assessment process. The review (chaired by speaker, David Reedy) found that the tests should continue if some important issues were addressed.

This conference will focus on changes to the tests and how they can be delivered in a play-based setting.

Key take-aways

– Skills for teachers to confidently complete computer based P1 assessments in 2020/2021
– Ideas to create a play-based environment (indoors and out)
– Proven ways to help narrow the disadvantage gap

Over the past seven years, nearly 2,000 Early Years practitioners have benefited from our popular Early Years conference in England.  For the first time, we are bringing this unmissable event to Scotland and it promises to deliver up-to-the-minute topics by world-class speakers.
