Tracy Fox
Tracy is an excellent teacher and trainer with in-depth knowledge and experience in organising phonics teaching throughout the phases. She has extensive experience with EAL, SEN and gifted children.
She has a BEd Honours in Art, Dance and Music, a polytechnic certificate in Language Development in the Multi-lingual classroom and 20 years teaching experience in inner city Birmingham. She has been part of teams delivering INSET on a variety of subjects over the years and has given talks on Circle Time and Behaviour Management at other schools.
Tracy has been Head of Nursery/Reception and Y1 in the largest infant school in Europe which has 100% EAL children.
Since leaving full-time teaching she has been working for ‘Which Phonics’ as an independent phonics trainer advising teachers and parents all over the country on the best way to guide their children to success with reading and writing. She also does supply work in North Warwickshire and has been involved in the introduction of Jolly Phonics and Thrass at her school as part of the Language working party.
