Katharine is an education consultant working in primary schools and EYFS settings. She has a very deep understanding and knowledge of excellence in teaching and learning and enjoys supporting schools in developing excellent practice and improving outcomes for children. She works with Osiris Educational delivering the Osiris Teaching Intervention programme as well as delivering bespoke training days on request. 

Katharine is a specialist in Primary and Early Years mathematical development and provision for EAL learners, having spent three years as a mathematics consultant and two years as a national adviser to local authorities on best provision for bilingual learners. She has delivered regional training in these areas and contributed at conferences giving keynote speeches and workshops. She currently divides her time between the UK and France.

Katharine also leads a lesson study model of professional development in schools in the UK, opening dialogue and encouraging professional reflection, collaboration, and agency to explore, analyze and refine models of teaching and learning. This work challenges and changes thinking. In France, she teaches business English to professionals and executives, teaches a university course, and has recently completed a year teaching English to children aged 3-11 in French primary school.
