Lesley was appointed as one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors (HMI) in 2012 and has been Ofsted’s national lead for special educational needs and/or disability. Before joining HMI, Lesley taught across all phases of education and was a headteacher of an Outstanding pupil referral unit for 5 years. She now works as an independent educational consultant.
