This years focus

In summer 2020, the 17 Early Learning Goals (ELGs) are changing. All Reception teachers in England will be expected to summarise each child’s development against these ELGs and complete the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile.

It has been widely reported that these measures are aimed at boosting early language skills and closing the ‘word gap’ between disadvantaged children and their peers. This conference will review findings from schools that have piloted the revised ELGs and will share best practice with delegates, inspiring practitioners to energise early learners.
