Dr Brian Male is a curriculum design specialist and author of books on curriculum design. He is a former headteacher, inspector, advisor and lecturer who has also worked on national UK projects such as Building Schools for the Future and Excellence in Cities, and for QCA. He has worked extensively with governments around the world on curriculum change, teacher education and assessment.

Martin Baxter

Martin has extensive experience across the educational landscape. Key projects include: school inspection in all phases; the Nuffield projects and the birth of GCSE; headteacher of a special school; school improvement programme lead; QCA adviser on curriculum design, curriculum design via Curriculum Foundation in Africa, Morocco and the UK; chair of the Curriculum Foundation and chair of of governors of primary and secondary schools.

Narinder Gill
Narinder Gill

Narinder Gill has worked for over 2 decades in the educational field, successfully leading three schools as a head teacher. Her last school was the subject of her recent publication ‘Creating Change in Urban Settings’ which charts the journey and impact of curriculum and leadership development during challenging times. Narinder is a Strategic Director for the Curriculum Foundation. Since 2015 Narinder has been working on the development of the Curriculum in South Sudan. As an accredited executive business coach, Narinder has also worked alongside schools, Trusts and the private sector to design and deliver bespoke leadership programmes with a focus upon optimising well-being and resilience. Narinder is a development coach for Ambition Institute supporting the Future Leaders programme and a School Improvement Advisor for Elevate Multi-academy Trust.

Vikki Pendry
Vikki Pendry

Vikki Pendry is a strategic director for The Curriculum Foundation. She has worked in 3 UK schools as a senior leader, as an AST for Development Education and is currently a Governor at a secondary school in York. Her work in the UK features bespoke programmes of curriculum support for schools leading to an ambitious curriculum framework that defines curriculum intent whilst shaping the implementation of the whole curriculum and reflecting the school’s local context. Vikki works with organisations such as HSBC, UNICEF and OXFAM to develop innovative teaching and learning programmes and resources that explore global issues. Vikki is a regular speaker at national conferences and is a guest lecturer at Liverpool Hope University. Her work with the Curriculum Foundation includes curriculum review and redesign at a national level in East Africa. Vikki is currently studying for a doctorate in education at UCL.
